Shri Babaji in His most enchanting form of Herakhan Baba sat on His Assan from 1970 to 1984.
Many came from all over the world to have His darshan but considering that such a great Maha Avatar was being present in physical form in our worldit was but a lucky few of the billions of fellow human beings who had this blessing. 
In these 14 years He was present He did not come to create a new religion. 
The little that he spoke was haphazardly recorded or noted down and compiled in a small booklet named the teachings of Babaji. 
A must read for anybody interested in knowing about Babaji. 
It all seems easy and at times repetitive but for the serious seeker for Truth it contains the highest wisdom. 
It is highly advisable to read it again from time to time as our consciousness changes we are able to grasp the deeper meaning in His simple words. 

In the way these teachings took place in a noisy kirtan hall where Babaji often in particular pitched voice, changing the speed of his speech at times in the middle of a phrase while making strange faces it was not easy to stay with the true meaning even then. 
Vishnu Datt Shastri
His sentence was often spoken out clearly by Vishnu Datt Shastri ( The priest and the voice of Babaji) and then translated by Om Shanti, Gaura Devi or who ever was capable and present. Some of these speeches have found their way to the internet and we can all get a feeling of how His magic voice still can touch the core of our being. 
He often spoke of the importance of Karmayoga and warned us of the kranti, an unprecedented revolution, a profound change of our world as we know it, which would take place soon. That soon seems to be here now, the world is in great turmoil and our ego's are celebrating, steeped in ignorance and confusion. It is of great importance for us, more then ever before to heed His words !
